RSE Journeyman Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 52 Fitter, Electrician, and Other Vacancies
Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Limited (GRSE), a premier Defence Shipyard and Miniratna Category-I company, has announced a major recruitment drive for 2025. Essential Qualification
For all Journeyman posts, candidates must fulfill the following educational requirements:
- Matriculation (Class 10th) Pass.
- National Trade Certificate (NTC) or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the relevant trade.
Specific trade requirements include NTC/NAC in trades like Fitter, Electrician, Diesel Mechanic, Machinist, Pipe Fitter, Rigger, Electronic Mechanic, and others as specified in the detailed notification. For the Driver (Material Handling) post, a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License is also mandatory.

Selection Process
The selection process for the GRSE Journeyman posts will be multi-staged:
- Written Test: An offline (Pen and Paper) objective test of 100 marks will be conducted. The duration will be 2 hours.
- Part A: 80 marks on the subject knowledge of the specific trade.
- Part B: 20 marks on General Knowledge, General Aptitude, and Mental Ability.
- Practical (Trade) Test: Candidates who qualify the written test will be called for a trade test, which will be qualifying in nature.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): This is a qualifying test mandatory only for the posts of Driver, Rigger, and Crane Operator.
